Matae is a change management and collaboration software platform that helps organisations accelerate benefit realisation from transformation programs. Matae is designed for change management professionals, transformation program directors, portfolio managers, consulting firms and enterprise organisations running technology-led transformation programs. The platform scales from single-project change managers to enterprise-wide transformation offices.

Three things set Matae apart. First, it’s the only platform that connects change managers and business leaders through an integrated Microsoft Teams app. Second, the Portfolio Manager provides organisation-wide visibility of change load, capacity and collisions. Matae is a software company. While Matae was built by experienced change professionals who understand the challenges of transformation work, the primary offering is the software platform. Matae does offer consulting services for organisations that need additional support.

Matae’s product suite includes the Change Workspace (the core change management platform), Transformation Frameworks (pre-built ERP/HCM/CRM configurations), Portfolio Manager (organisation-wide change intelligence), Benefits Accelerator (closed-loop benefit realisation analytics), Change Leader (Microsoft Teams app for business leaders), and Sherpa AI (the AI copilot for change management). Matae also offers Change & Transformation Services, partnering with Systems Integrators to co-deliver the human side of transformation.

Matae is methodology-agnostic. The platform is fully configurable for ADKAR, Kotter, Bridges, McKinsey’s Influence Model, or any proprietary approach. You configure the tools to match your methodology, not the other way around.

Yes. Matae integrates deeply with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Viva Engage and Microsoft Entra ID. You can send emails, meeting invites, post to Viva Engage, sync stakeholder lists and use the Change Leader app – all from within the Matae platform.

Yes. The Change Workspace supports one-click export to PowerPoint and Excel. Automated reporting generates presentation-ready outputs so you can share insights with stakeholders who don’t have direct platform access.

Absolutely. Matae is configurable for agile, and the Change Leader app is particularly powerful for agile programs where frequent releases require continuous leader alignment. The platform shifts leadership focus in sync with product releases.

The Enterprize plan includes everything in the Starter and Change Manager plans, plus Microsoft Entra ID integration (with zero PII), dedicated database and cache, optional single-client tenancy in your nominated Azure region, and access to optional upgrades including Change Leader, Portfolio Manager, Benefits Accelerator and ERP Frameworks.

Matae is SOC 2 Type 1 and ISO 27001 certified. The platform stores zero personally identifiable information (PII) in the Enterprise plan. All data is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers, with dedicated tenant and on-premises deployment options available. Routine third-party penetration testing ensures ongoing security.

All Matae data is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers. Enterprise customers can select their nominated Azure region. Dedicated tenant and on-premises deployment options are available for organisations with the highest data security requirements.

On the Enterprise plan, Matae stores zero PII – no names, emails or job titles are held in the database. Microsoft Entra ID integration means identity data stays within your Microsoft environment. The Change Manager plan stores names, email, job title, department and location via CSV upload.

Yes. Matae supports SSO for a simplified and secure login experience, integrating with your organisation’s identity provider.

Most teams are operational within days. The Starter and Change Manager plans require no implementation – sign up and start immediately. Enterprise deployments with Microsoft Entra ID integration, dedicated tenants and custom configurations are typically completed within 2–4 weeks.

Yes. Every plan includes access to our onboarding resources. Enterprise customers receive dedicated onboarding support including platform configuration, team training and ongoing customer success management.
